After finishing clearly on top of the ladder our team made it’s way to Morwell to play against Trafalgar in the semi-final. There had been plenty of rain overnight and the rain continued. Play was first suspended for an hour, then with a brief gap in the weather, play was set to start at 10.30. Only 2 or 3 holes were able to be completed before rain started again and greens went under water, the siren was sounded and play abandoned for the day.
Our position on top of the ladder meant that our team goes through to the final against Warragul, at Mirboo North next Sunday at 9.00. Supporters are most welcome to come and cheer the team on, or join us for what we hope will be a celebration dinner at the Family Hotel back in Drouin.
