June Monthly Medal

Congratulations to Mark Gould for winning the Monthly Medal for June.  A solid start with a bogey and 2 pars over the first 3 holes, a birdie on the par 3 5th hole saw Mark nett 4 under after 5 holes.  Things took a turn with 4 double bogey’s making the turn nett even.  Mark steadied the ship on the back nine, scoring 8 bogey’s and paring the 17th and claiming the Medal on a count back with nett 68.

That is all for now, but I’ll leave you with this quote from 7 time Major Champion Harry Vardon
