Drouin handicap division 1 played at Warragul against Moe.
Peter Daniel opened his pennant season with a very tough battle against a familiar opponent by halving his match. Stand out performer Connor Jeffries came back with some gritty golf to win his last 4 holes for another win 2 up. Captain Geoff Searle found some form for a solid 5/3 victory.
Other matches were battled out but Moe got the job done with a 4 1/2 to 2 1/2 victory.
A two week break coming up with this team now desperate for a win.
Next is against Garfield at Traralgon on the 26/3/23.
We also host scratch pennant this Sunday seeing the best golfers in west gippsland taking playing at Drouin from 9am. We then host ladies pennant on Monday morning.
